Hello Everyone,
Even as we find ourselves in the midst of a second round of wintery weather, I pray that the Easter season has provided you and your loved ones with some measure of hope in the new life of Spring that is to come and that the whole of creation groans for in eager anticipation.
We were blessed in our support meeting last month to have three new members join us for companionship and conversation. These sessions, though virtual, for now, continue to provide light and hope for many of us as we encounter new stressors in our caregiving relationships during these unusual and challenging times.
This month's issue of Emmaus Companions features a look at the role the Psalms can play in both our spiritual lives and in building mental health resiliency. We've also included a discussion from the 2014 Hope for Mental Health conference on integrating physical, spiritual, and mental health as well as a helpful, free download from Mental Health First Aid Canada.
Peace and God Bless,
Deacon Eric
